Position: Work From Office

This position requires advanced IT skills in the design, development, installation and maintenance of web applications and related business processes.

This includes the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of these systems and interfacing with other developers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements and needs. Utilize a variety of hardware and software technologies and will include writing new code/modules, modifications to existing modules, and/or package implementation. These responsibilities require web architecture experience with coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Excels in developing web applications on the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET frameworks,.NET Core, MVC) as well as Angular 7 and above, jQuery , Type Script, JavaScript, CSS.
• Excellent query writing using SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL skills are required.
• Extensive web service (SOAP & REST) experience and proficiency is required.
• Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) project methodology is a plus.
• Experience with TFS.
• Familiarity with integration of website and databases with external web tools such as Marketing Automation Systems, Email Systems, or similar is desired.
• Should be able to work independently and have hands on coding experience.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Computer Science degree.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as an enterprise web developer.
• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with integrating home grown and/or boxed website applications into and out of Oracle and/or other databases and applications.
• Proven leadership ability either supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Proven record as a critical thinker/problem solver on technical and business process problems.
• Is a highly productive, highly capable developer that can demonstrate efficient solutions to complex problems

• Design/code/ test new systems to meet business needs while streamlining and simplifying processes and administration procedures.  This includes incorporating user requests and feedback from a global user group.

• Partner with the Project Manager to drive approach, direction, and technical alternatives.
• Define development standards, determining best technology practices.

• Provide guidance on selection, evaluation and impact of PostgreSQL Plug-ins on production database performance at large scale
• Provide guidance for capacity planning as well as instance types, sizing and impact of choices on costs vs performance.
• Provide guidance to aid in establishing policies and procedures for data management, security, maintenance and utilization.
• Develop, manage, and test backup & recovery strategies and data maintenance (tuning, purging, exporting, indexing, archiving).
